One of the landmarks of the town is the Nautical Historical Museum of Galaxidi. It hosts a rare collection of nautical instruments, ships' logs and registers, paintings of sailing ships built in Galaxidi and impressively carved wooden figureheads among others. It is a collection that stands as witness to Galaxidi’s rich nautical tradition and history.

A prominent shipbuilding centre during the 19th century, Galaxidi is a charming and tranquil nautical town surrounded by nature.
